Lois and Andy are getting married in June and having their wedding photographs in the Hampshire countryside is really special for them. Both of them are outdoor people and therefore the countryside was an obvious choice for their marquee wedding in Hampshire.
On Saturday I met up with Lois and Andy to take their pre-wedding photographs in the woods at Bighton, Hampshire. Lois and Andy had chose the location as this is where their wedding will take place. After spending the morning with Lois and Andy taking their pre-wedding photographs, I am now so excited to be taking their wedding photographs in the Hampshire countryside.
With Andy being working in forestry and Lois the owner of two beautiful horses, it was an obvious choice to have their wedding in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. We had thought that we would have a fantastic bluebell wood shoot but the bluebells were really not going to be a round for much longer. The white flowers did look amazing – even though they were wild garlic and not a very nice smell.
At first Lois and Andy were both a little camera shy and had not really had an opportunity to have photographs taken of themselves. As Lois is slightly taller than Andy, the pre-shoot gave us an opportunity to use subtle poses to ensure Lois didn’t look taller than Andy. Something that was really important to Lois.
We definitely had a lovely morning and I am really pleased to be able to capture some amazing pre-wedding photographs for Andy and Lois.
