As you may remember from my January brides post, this year I wanted to bring into my business an exciting new project which will help me get to know some of the amazing venues in Hampshire and Surrey and of course gain some new wedding supplier friends. So each month I will plan a shoot at a an amazing wedding venues in Surrey and look forward to sharing the images each month. Northbrook Park with a stunning Grade II listed eighteenth-century manor house is set within a beautiful country estate. Being a Hampshire and Surrey wedding photographer, this venue is perfect for my brides as sits peacefully on the Surrey and Hampshire border, with extensive grounds and charming walled gardens. The Ian Stuart bridal gown ‘Sweet Madness’ was the perfect dress for the Northbrook Park setting. After selecting the right dress for the location, the rich, lustrous tulle ball gown gave me inspiration for a masquerade themed shoot. Northbrook Park has an added attraction of the amazing peacocks.
Working with some many talented wedding suppliers, brings such colour and inpsiration to the wedding shoot. I loved the flowers provided by Strawberry Fizz events styling. The first bouquet contained blue hydrangea, ranunculus and eucalyptus and look amazing. This bouquet worked really well with the calligraphy provided by Claire from Calligraphy for Wedddings. Loved the subtle French link to the blue colour scheme of flowers and invitations. With our colour scheme of blue and pinks, I chose two amazing masquerade masks from Just Posh Masks.
The weather wasn’t kind to us on the day; it was a bit dull and was starting to rain. The front of Northbrook Park is stunning and did manage to get some amazing photographs before the rain set in for the day.
Love the fascinators provided by Sarah; the fascinators definitely complimented the look and feel of the shoot.
This bouquet from Strawberry Fizz was my favourite; perfect to compliment the style of the venue and also matching with the peacocks at Northbrook Park. The bouquet contained red grand prix , fern , dracaena leaves , berries and peacock feathers
