Sharing a sunny Sunday afternoon with wedding suppliers from the Alton area for our vintage styled wedding at Alton House Hotel was amazing!
My inspiration for the photo shoot came from a recent visit to Amsterdam and my love of vintage bicycles. Once home I was on a mission to find my own vintage bike and after a few weeks of searching found my Pashley Vintage bike. The colours are so perfect for my Jennifer Sinclair Photography branding. Having being established in the Alton area as a wedding supplier for a couple of years now, I have built up an amazing network of wedding suppliers who were definitely interested in coming together to do a vintage styled shoot.
The Alton House hotel is a country house hotel set in the idyllic market town of Alton in Hampshire and is well renowned as a wedding venue. The main banqueting suite opens onto the award winning gardens providing a lovely backdrop for photographs. The beautiful gardens were just perfect for our styled shoot. Emma the dedicated wedding co-ordinator does an amazing job of organising a number of weddings at this venue.
I love working with Gemma from Little Star Events; Gemma has a fantastic network of wedding suppliers and was able to co-ordinate bringing together amazing creative wedding suppliers. As well as co-ordinating styled shoot, Little Star Events provide unique wedding fayres that will inspire both the couples attending and the suppliers exhibiting.
Our models Jemimah and Danielle were both stunning and love the fresh youthful look their both brought to the shoot. I would definitely love to work with both of girls again as they were truly fantastic. What is really special will be in September when I get to take Jemimah’s wedding photographs at Wrag Barn in Wiltshire. It was lovely to work with Becky from Beauty Call once again; I’m amazed by how creative Becky is and makes models look stunning. It was great to meet Claire from Claire Lewis Photography and Professional Makeup Artistry; Danielle’s makeup by Claire looked fantastic – and amazing hair by Becky from Beauty Call. I love the work of both Claire and Becky and so pleased with the images that we created that day.
Jemimah and Danielle model stunning wedding dresses by Amaryllis Bridalwear. Danielle wore Maggie Sottero Ettia and Ronald Joyce Ella and Jemimah wore, Maggie Sottero Pia & Justin Alexander 8751 and a Rainbow Club Celeste veil.
The flowers were amazing. A thank you to Helen from Flowers by Helen – they were so beautiful. It was lovely to meet a new supplier, Lisa from Fleur De Lis.
My Pashley bicycle looked absolutely stunning with the flowers by Lisa. The flowers definitely made the vintage styled wedding shoot perfect. I just wish I could have fresh flowers in my bicycle basket ever day. The wedding cake supplier by Yevnig from Unique Cakes by Yevnig looked amazing.
One of my favourite shops within our local town of Altonn is Unique Chique and was delighted when they wanted to get involve with the photo shoot and provide us with some amazing wedding props.
