Having your wedding at Barnett Hill must be amazing! I love this wedding venue and being one of their preferred suppliers, I love trying out new ideas by doing a styled shoot in the ground of Barnett Hill. The weather wasn’t looking too good but the rain soon disappeared and we were able to shoot outside. I love the little cottage in the grounds which made a great setting for our vintage themed bridal styled shoot. We wanted a vintage but very summery feel to the shoot so decided to go with pastel colours of pinks and greens. Rhodda from Heaven Scent Flowers did an amazing job with creating beautiful flowers arrangements and I just love peonies; one of the top wedding flowers for a summer wedding.
I adore the dresses chosen by Charlotte from Amaryllis Bridalwear in Alton; Georgia our first model wore a Sincerity bridal dress (3867), a beautiful dress with embroidered lace, slim A-line with a strapless neckline – just perfect. Luciana wore a Victoria Jane dress by Ronald Joyce (Jaden 18002); A chiffon dress with crossed ruching, detachable satin belt, lace cap sleeves with a beautiful scoop back. These dresses are sure to be popular with brides for this year and next.
I met Jess from Vintage Your Wedding Day at a recent wedding fayre at Alton House Hotel organised by Little Star Events and when I was organising the styled shoot, just knew that Jess’s wedding props would be perfect for the theme of our styled shoot. The stationery for the shoot really did compliment the old vintage remington typewriter; beautiful stationery provided by Lola and Elvis.
Hayley from Hayley Lovelock Makeup did an amazing job of the girls hair and makeup. It’s always a pleasure to work with Hayley as she just knows how to create the look that fits perfectly with the style of the shoot.
It was an amazing day with an amazing creative team and am delighted with the images from our styled shoot at Barnett Hill.
