I cannot believe it has been over 8 years since I found my passion in photography. After being a part-time photographer for many years, it’s great that I am now able to focus on being a full time wedding and portrait photographer. I started to look back at some of my early portraits and love this photograph of Caroline. Caroline was a fantastic model and really helped me with some of my crazy photo shoots while I was studying for my degree in photography. It then a real pleasure to be able to take Caroline’s wedding photographs a couple of years later and then recently portrait photographs of her little boy.
Moving to Alton in Hampshire towards the end of last year, feels a bit like starting my business all over again. It is a great opportunity to revitalise my business and meet lots of new contacts both prospect clients and network contacts.
I’ve started to introduce myself as a wedding photographer to some of the great wedding venues in the area. Audley House, near Basingstoke is stunning and makes a perfect venue for a wedding. It was great to meet the wedding co-ordinator and look forward to sharing my brochures at the up and coming wedding open evenings.
I’ve started to get to know the local community; using the gym, introducing myself to the local playgroups and nurseries and joining the local networking group. It is great after juggling a full time job with photography, that I am now able to focus totally on my photography and build a successful photography business.
I’m looking forward to the journey as a wedding and portrait photographer in Alton and Farnham and look forward to sharing my journey on my blog.
