With so much planning going into a wedding, many bride and grooms choose a particular theme for their wedding day. I love the series of styled bridal shoots I have done based on Disney themes. I was so excited to bring together some of my favourite wedding supplier creatives for our styled bridal shoot based on Beauty and the Beast. Disney are launching a live-action film re-telling the Disney classic of Beauty and the Beast (due to be released March 2017). What great inspiration for a styled bridal shoot.
Our chosen venue was Horsley Towers, in Surrey. The ornate classical chapel and cloisters made a stunning backdrop for the styled shoot. It gave the images a quirky, classical feel. The lighting was just perfect. Our stunning models were Jemimah, Rachel and Kris – they all did an amazing job of portraying Belle and the Beast.
Sam from Sass & Grace bridal provided the beautiful dresses – A Cymbeline Barbara, a simple but elegant style for the maid-Belle and an Ellis bridals 12231, a beautiful sparkly dress perfect for the ballroom photographs with the Beast. I love the range of dresses that Sass and Grace provide so always a pleasure to be able to use a Sass & Grace bridal dress in my styled shoots.
Our handsome Beast, Kris, wore suits provided by Hannah from Bartlett and Butcher – such an amazing range of menswear.
As always brilliant and perfect hair and makeup by Vanessa and Becky from The Surrey School of Makeup.
The beautiful flowers were provided by Rhoda from Heaven Scent Flowers. I love Rhoda’s choice of flowers for the shoot:
Red bouquet: black baccara, freedom and extase roses with the aspire green bell
Bright Yellow bouquet: ‘sphinx’, ‘high & exotic’ roses with rozenbottel ‘magical gold’ berries and helleborus ‘magnificent bells’
Golden garden yellow bouquet with ‘golden vuvuzela’ roses.
While the models were getting ready, Rhoda used her magic creative skills to create the perfect dining room setting for Belle and the Beast. A beautiful set table complimented with stationery from Coral and Slate. Rachel from Rachel Hudson Cake Decorator provided the stunning Beauty and the Beast cake – truly amazing with hand painting of the flowers.
Thank you Little Star Events for helping with the organization and bringing wedding suppliers together.
We all had such an amazing day on this shoot and I’m sure all of us will be looking forward to the launch of the film in the New Year
